What is the structure of the baby bottle mold
The baby bottle mold structure usually consists of the following parts:
Formed part
Core: The part of the inner surface of the molding bottle, usually a hollow cylinder structure, and a cooling tube can be arranged in the hollow to pass cooling water and cool the bottle embryo.
Cavity: also known as the concave mold, it is the working parts of the outer surface of the molding bottle. According to the structure, it can be divided into two categories: integral and combined. The combined cavity is often used for the more complex plastic parts of the bottle.
Gating system
Main channel: The channel connecting the injector nozzle to the diverter, usually conical, whose size and length affect the flow rate and pressure loss of the plastic melt.
Diversion channel: The channel that distributes the plastic melt of the main channel to each cavity, and its shape and size are designed according to the cavity layout of the mold and the characteristics of the plastic melt.
Gate: a narrow channel connecting the diverter and the mold cavity, which controls the speed and flow of plastic melt into the mold cavity and has an important impact on the molding quality of the bottle.
Guiding and positioning mechanism
Guide post and guide sleeve: installed in the dynamic die and fixed die part of the mold, play a guiding role when the mold is closed, ensure the accurate match of the dynamic die and fixed die, and prevent the displacement of the cavity.
Positioning ring: It is installed on the fixed mold seat plate of the mold and is used to cooperate with the positioning hole of the injection machine to ensure the accurate installation position of the mold on the injection machine.
Release mechanism
Push-rod: usually installed on the side of the moving mold, when opening the mold, the push-rod will be pushed out of the molded bottle from the core under the action of the injection machine top rod or hydraulic cylinder.
Push plate: used to push out the baby bottle plastic parts with complex shape or difficult to push out with the push rod, push plate and core fit, when opening the mold, push plate under the action of the injection machine top rod, the baby bottle from the core as a whole out.
Cooling System 2
Cooling water channel: The channel processed in the core and cavity and other parts, through the circulating cooling water to take away the heat released by the plastic melt in the molding process, so that the baby bottle is quickly cooled and shaped.
